Meet The Team
Michelle LeMoignan
Co-owner
Michelle founded Flirt Cupcakes in 2008 after working for another business and operating her own clothing line on the side. Michelle has always had a passion for business. Marketing, design development and overseeing operations are what she enjoys most! Outside of Flirt, Michelle is an avid hockey player (and Oilers fan) and also spends her time photographing wildlife, volunteering with animal rescue and spending as much time as possible outdoors.

Brianna Vallet
Co-owner
Brianna began her time at Flirt over a decade ago at our Jasper Avenue location. Within a short time frame, Brianna went from manager to co-owner of Flirt and now, as a certified pastry chef, she's the creative wheel behind most of the design and development of our menu. While away from the shop, Brianna's creativity doesn't stop. She has a passion for cosplay and all things anime. And of course, we can't mention Brianna without mentioning her 2 cats Jack and Sencha!

Jules
Front of House
Jules joined the Flirt team in the summer of 2024, bringing her market expertise and vibrant energy to the front-of-house Flirt role. Outside of work, Jules is an avid explorer—whether it's trying new restaurants, thrift shopping for hidden gems, or travelling. She has made it a personal goal to visit a new country every year, a tradition she's upheld her entire life. She also loves going on road trips, always seeking new adventures and experiences wherever she goes.

Faith
Front of House
Faith joined the Flirt team in the summer of 2024, bringing her passion and enthusiasm for beauty and customer service to the front-of-house role. Outside of work, Faith is currently working towards earning her esthetician license, with the goal of turning her love for beauty into a full-fledged career. At home, she’s a proud pet parent to five animals—Stormy, Stitch, Winston, Leo, and Zena. Faith is excited about both her work at Flirt and pursuing her dream of becoming an esthetician.

Kiera
Front of House / Prep
Kiera is a dynamic member of the team at Flirt, assisting with both sales and custom prep work in the kitchen. Outside of work, Kiera is an avid sports fan, especially tennis. Currently, she’s working towards securing a year-long internship at Disney World and hopes to pursue a degree in sport and recreation management in the next five years. In fact, she’s a three-time national champion in lawn bowling!

Cuyler
Production Baker
Cuyler joined the Flirt team in the summer of 2022 as our full-time production baker. Cuyler is a powerful one-man crew and does the majority of all of our daily baking and packaging. He has his long-term sights set on becoming a social worker here in Edmonton and helping the disenfranchised people within the city.

Daria
Head Cake Decorator​
Daria quickly became the heart of our decorating team. She’s got an incredible eye for detail and a steady hand that brings all her cake ideas to life. Whether it’s a dreamy wedding cake or a fun birthday design, Daria puts love and creativity into everything she decorates! When she’s not in the kitchen, you’ll usually find her behind a camera, deep into a video game, or chilling with her cat. She’s as fun and thoughtful as her cakes—and we’re lucky to have her!

Ginger
Kitchen Lead
Ginger followed her dreams right into the food industry several years ago and has been with Flirt specifically since early 2023. When she's not busy baking and decorating up a storm, you can find her curled up at home with her cat Reilly while reading her favourite book. She's also recently discovered a love for audiobooks. Ginger will be away on maternity leave shortly, and while we're going ot miss her dearly, we're so excited for her!

Jenn
Baker / Decorator
Jenn joined the Flirt team in early 2025 and has been keeping the kitchen laughing ever since. A SAIT grad with tons of experience in the food industry, she brings skill, heart, and a whole soundtrack of sound effects to every shift. Jenn takes real pride in her work, and it shows in every sweet creation she makes.
Outside of work, she’s a busy mom to a young son, two newly rescued kittens, and a dog—so her life is full of love, laughs, and just the right amount of chaos.

Megan
Baker / Decorator
Megan has been our weekend warrior at Flirt since early 2019! She's notorious for coming in at ungodly hours to get a head start on all the weekend prep. Outside of work she rescues and cares for ducks. Yes - ducks! We always look forward to her latest duck updates each week! She even has her Migratory Bird Licence. Megan is a mom to be and is currently on maternity leave while she gets ready for her greatest adventure yet, motherhood!
